ABOUT STANISLAW FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY CENTER
Hello, my name is Dr. Paul Stanislaw and I would like to welcome you to my website. The purpose of this website is two fold: First, it is an opportunity to introduce myself and my practice to you. Second, I hope this website serves as an educational resource for you and answers many of your questions.
I specialize exclusively in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. That is, my entire practice is dedicated to cosmetic or plastic surgery of the face, head, and neck. By focusing only on this one area, I feel that I can deliver the highest quality of care, and provide the best results.
I founded the Stanislaw Facial Plastic Surgery Center in 2001 in Avon, Connecticut and was the first Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in the Greater Hartford area.My practice philosophies:
My number one concern is patient safety. It is my duty to closely examine and review new technologies, products, and procedures as they emerge. Before I choose to offer a treatment or procedure, I need to be assured of its safety and efficacy. New is not always better than “tried and true”. I do not perform any treatments or surgeries that I would not have done to myself or have done to a family member.
My goal is to make my patients look refreshed and more youthful, and for their facial features to be in balance and
harmony. Most importantly, the patient needs to look natural without any signs of intervention. I feel that plastic surgery is just as much Artistry as it is basic science.
Non-surgical treatments have become an integral component of facial rejuvenation and should not be taken lightly. This is truly an art form; the ability to “sculpt” these products to erase the signs of aging and to accentuate the beautiful features of a face can not be taught. This is why all non-surgical treatments (Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse, Sculptra, laser treatments, etc) are performed by me. There are no nurses, physician’s assistants, or “residents in training” performing any procedures at the Stanislaw Facial Plastic Surgery Center.
My goal of the consultation is to first understand the patients concerns and expectations. This is the most important step, since it then allows me to better educate the patient as to the treatment options available to specifically address their concerns. During the consultation I will review your medical history and perform an examination of your skin and facial features.
I personally want to assure you that your consultation will be non-stressful, and that it is simply an educational experience to help you make a well informed decision. There is never any pressure to make a decision or commitment at the time of the consultation. You are always given the opportunity to take your time and to think about what was discussed. At the end of the consultation, I advise patients to write down any questions that may arise and I offer to meet again to further discuss any of your questions or concerns.
